- Used to be, hitting your monthly cap had zero symptoms. Merged PRs stopped drafting, Regenerate did nothing, and the only place that explained why was a billing page nobody's staring at mid-workflow. Every signal pointed to "this is broken," not "you're at 20 of 20."
- There's a banner on every screen now that tracks your usage, turns amber when you're close, and goes red with a plain explanation when you're out, reset date included.
- Regenerate disables itself before it can burn your existing draft for nothing. I found this the hard way: the button used to clear your copy first and check your quota second, so if you were tapped out, you'd lose what you had and get an empty result back. That's now backwards, in the right order.
